All active-duty military personnel, National Guard and reservists will get free lift tickets Monday at Brian Head Resort above Parowan in southwestern Utah.

"Brian Head wants to honor and thank those who serve our country," said resort sales and marketing manager Jon Christoffersen.

"They put themselves in harm's way to protect our freedom. Skiing and snowboarding allows these men and women a chance to relax and unwind like few activities do."

Daily lift tickets cost $56 this year at Brian Head.
