The University of Utah beat Brigham Young University again.

This time the competition was the annual holiday food drive.

Of course, the real winner was the Utah Food Bank which received 616,398 pounds of food and $153,792 in cash donations.

University of Utah organizers were responsible for about 2/3 the total: collecting 421,798 pounds of food and $108,045 in cash donations. BYU students collected 194,600 pounds of food and $45,747 in cash donations.

The food drive took place Nov. 12 – 25 during the annual Utah-BYU rivalry football game.
