With the 2012 Sundance Film Festival's tagline, "Look Again," there are plenty of visual references to past Sundance hits – like the photo of Keira Knightley from "Bend It Like Beckham" at The MARC, or the banner with Guy Pearce from "Memento" at the entrance to the Library Center.

But those who carry the festival's film guide – which is pretty much everybody – must be wondering, "Who's that girl?"

The upward-looking fresh face on the guide's cover belongs to Hannah Bailey, who was one of the featured Indiana high-schoolers in Nanette Burstein's 2008 documentary "American Teen."

Bailey was the "rebel" – the art student who left Indiana for San Francisco at the movie's end. In the movie's poster, inspired by the iconic poster from "The Breakfast Club," Bailey was the Ally Sheedy character.

When the movie played Sundance, Bailey was 20 and had already relocated to New York to become a filmmaker.

Did she make that dream come true? Hard to say. Her entry in the Internet Movie Database lists one film credit – a story credit on someone else's student film.
