Oquirrh Mountain Symphony & Repertory Dance Theatre: "American Tall Tales: Larger than Life"

The Oquirrh Mountain Symphony, in collaboration with Repertory Dance Theatre, invites Utah residents to experience a celebration of American folk heroes through music and dance at their "American Tall Tales: Larger than Life" performance on Thursday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Bingham High School (located at 2160 W. 10400 S. South Jordan).This performance promises to offer "a unique combination of symphonic music and dance that contains many pieces, selected to enrich communities with high quality, unparalleled, family-friendly works of music and dance," according to a press release.

A few of the works appearing in the performance include Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" and Ernest Williams' "Revolutionary Suite," narrated by RDT's Ricklen Nobis.Tickets may be purchased at the door for $10/adults and $5/students, seniors and children.
