Every year in Chicago, some 600 students from 60 area schools compete in "Louder Than a Bomb," the largest youth poetry-slam competition in the world.
That competition, and the teens who find their voices by writing and performing their words, is the subject of the documentary "Louder Than a Bomb," which screens Tuesday, Feb. 7, in Salt Lake City.
The movie screens at 7 p.m. at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. The event is free to the public.
Greg Jacobs, who co-directed the film with Jon Siskel, will be in attendance for a post-screening Q-and-A session.
The screening is presented by the Utah Film Center.
