Aggie gymnasts to host San Jose State

Logan • Utah State's gymnastic team will host San Jose State Friday at 7 p.m . on Think Pink Night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

The Aggies, 2-5 overall and 0-1 in the Western Athletic Conference, will host league foe San Jose State, which brings a 4-3 overall and 1-0 league mark into the meet.

The Think Pink Night supports Breast Cancer Awareness. All fans who wear pink will receive free admission and the first 500 fans will receive pink and Aggie blue pom-poms. There will be donation sheets available at the USU marketing and promotions table located on the west concourse behind section S. All funds collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

The meet will feature two of the WAC's top all-arounders in San Jose State's Thomasina Wallace and USU's Sarah Landes. Wallace is tops in the WAC, fifth in the West region and tied for 20th in the nation with a 39.205 average. Landes, a freshman, is third in the WAC, tied for fifth in the North Central region and tied for 41st in the country with a 38.994 average.
