An Enoch man accused of sexually assaulting a teen girl while his parents slept in a nearby room has been sentenced to 180 days in jail.

Taylor David Warren, 19, was also sentenced last week in 5th District Court to 36 months probation during which he must undergo a psychosexual evaluation.

Warren pleaded guilty in November to a third-degree felony count of attempted sexual abuse in connection with the February 2011 abuse.

According to court documents, the 13-year-old girl sneaked out of her parents' house near midnight on Valentine's Day and encountered Warren, whom she knew. The two went to Warren's home, where the man began "rubbing and fondling her," court documents state.

Warren originally faced first-degree felony counts of rape, object rape of a child and child kidnapping.

According to charges filed last year, Warren raped the girl and kept his hand over her mouth as she screamed. When Warren left the bedroom, the girl said, she was able to escape.
