Salt Lake Symphony and Utah Voices will present an all-Beethoven program

The Utah Symphony aren't the only ones impressed with Ludwig.

The Salt Lake Symphony and Utah Voices will join forces to present an all-Beethoven program, "Glorious Beethoven," on March 17, at 7:30 pm at Libby Gardner Concert Hall on the University of Utah campus.

Salt Lake Symphony music director-conductor Robert Baldwin and Utah Voices conductor Michael Huff will co-conduct the concert.

Admission is $10. Tickets are available by calling 801-531-7501 or can be purchased at the door.On the program: Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and "Glori"a from Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis." Become acquainted with the culture behind the music by attending the free, pre-concert discussion with Music Director Robert Baldwin from 6:15 to 7 p.m. in Room 270, right behind the concert hall. These lectures are sponsored, in part, by the Utah Humanities Council.Huff is the Artistic Director and Conductor of Utah's newest choir, Utah Voices and has recently joined the faculty of Utah State University's Caine College of the Arts where he is Director of Special Programs, and a Visiting Professor with the Department of Music.
