Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• Andrew Breitbart, the sleazeball right-wing blogger whose "journalism" wrecked the careers of USDA official Shirley Sherrod (who didn't deserve such treatment) and Rep. Anthony Weiner (who probably did), died early this morning of what his website calls "natural causes" at the age of 43. [Big Journalism, CNN]

• Davy Jones' former bandmates of The Monkees — the "pre-fab 4" pop group featured in their own '60s sitcom and the movie "Head" — are leading the tributes after Jones died of a heart attack in Florida, at the age of 66. [BBC]

• Bill Murray is saying no, once and for all, to appearing in a third "Ghostbusters" movie, according to co-star Dan Aykroyd. [Vulture]
