Rick Steves, the author of a best-selling series of travel books focused on Europe, is taking some time out to focus on America.

His "Road Trip USA: 20 Cities in 20 Days" stops in Salt Lake City on Monday, March 5. And he shouldn't be too tired — Utah is stop No. 3.

Steves will appear at Salt Lake's Main Library (210 E. 400 South) to discus European travel skills, and stick around to sign copies of his books.

In addition to his books, Stevens also hosts a TV show on PBS ("Rick Steves Europe") and a public radio show ("Travel with Rick Steves").

Steves' books will be on sale at the Library Store store before the event and at the public lecture.

The lecture begins Monday at 7 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium. Seating is limited, and free tickets are being distributed at alll library locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit two tickets per person.

There will be a wait-line for people without tickets, and a live-stream of the lecture in an overflow room.
