A Payson man called police on his own sons for using heroin on March 5.
In court papers, Utah County sheriff's deputies say the father told them his sons, ages 19 and 18, were using heroin in the home and had admitted they were addicted. The father gave deputies drug paraphernalia that tested positive for the drug.
Police obtained a search warrant and searched the home and the brothers. One of the brothers had several balloons of heroin in his pocket, police said, and the other had several balloons in a dish behind his television. Police also found several used syringes and less than an ounce of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
The brothers are being held at the Utah County Jail on $5,000 bail.
