Utah Division of Wildlife Resources officials are looking for volunteers to help with the youth fishing club program. The clubs are community-based and provide adult mentors to teach youth ages 6-13 the basics of fishing in a six-week course. Volunteers are needed across the state, but officials are currently in immediate need of mentors in Spanish Fork, Highland, Salem, Payson, Murray and Draper. If you have time and want to help create future anglers shoot Tonya Kieffer, the community fisheries biologists for the DWR's Central Region, an email at tonyakieffer@utah.gov or call her at 801-874-5705.For a list of clubs across the state visit this link.
