Husband-and-wife team Eric and Carol Hochstadt have volunteered for the Humane Society of Utah since 2009. Always walking dogs — both big and small — the Hochstadts began a creative venture for the shelter more than a year ago. After snapping a photo of their foster dog, Ginger, the Hochstadts realized the importance of posting flattering, but accurate, photos of each dog on the shelter's website. So for the past year, the Hochstadts have photographed dozens of shelter dogs each week for online posts. The two have snapped an estimated 600 photos since beginning their work helping dogs find new homes. —
