The votes are in, and 10 finalists have cleared the first round of Walmart's Get on the Shelf contest.

More than 4,000 inventors and entrepreneurs submitted product ideas to the corporation's competition, with more than a million people nationwide casting online votes for their favorites.

The top 10 were:

Bios Clinical Acne System • Topical probiotics for adolescent and adult acne.

Humankind Water • 100 percent of net profits from bottled water sales, donations and speaking engagements help provide clean drinking water for some of the 1 billion people worldwide who are dying without it.

Mr. Spritz Mysterious Shirts • The designs on these entertaining shirts appear when they get wet, disappear when dry.

Plate Topper • Turns paper plates into airtight food-storage containers; microwave and dishwasher safe, also BPA-free.

Sola-Bag Forever Carry Refrigerator • A lunch bag that harnesses energy from the sun or indoor lighting to keep contents cold.

Soleeze Spring-Loaded Insoles • These resilient inserts fit into any shoe or boot and act as shock absorbers.

Snapit Eyeglass Repair Kit • A 30-second fix for sunglasses or eyeglasses.

SUSIE Magazine • A bimonthly Christian print and online publication for teen girls that aims to promote healthy relationships and positive self-images.

Veterans Farm Datil Pepper Salt • Disabled combat veterans manufacture this datil pepper-infused kosher salt and in doing so learn to overcome physical and mental barriers.

We the People Bracelet • Wrist ornaments that are made of silver beads ingrained with the constitutional amendments contained in the Bill of Rights.

Another round of online public voting begins Wednesday at getontheshelf.com. Votes will be taken through April 24 to narrow the field of 10 down to three.

The top three winners get the chance to sell their innovations at Walmart.com, and the grand-prize product could appear on the shelves of select U.S. Walmart stores.

"We have been inspired by the creativity and passion of the contestants as they promote their products through traditional media, social marketing and personal networks," WalmartLabs Vice President Chris Bolte said in a statement. "We look forward to the next round of voting where the winners will be decided by the American public."
