Fantasy artist gives students the D&D scoop

Todd Lockwood tries to do more than just create unforgettable images of other realmsĀ­—the fantasy artist wants to inspire the imaginations of others—and give them really, really bad dreams.

Lockwood, who's work is found throughout the fantasy and science-fiction genre, will discuss career at SUU's Department of Art and Design's weekly lecture, Art Insights on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the Centrum Arena. It's free.

Lockwood worked with Wizards of the Coast in redefining the look for the third edition of the popular Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game. His work has since appeared on best-selling novels, magazines and video games. To view his work, visit www.toddlockwood.com.
