School of Seven Bells, a Brooklyn indie-pop duo, will perform on Tuesday, April 17, at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City.

Benjamin Curtis and Alejandra Deheza met when both belonged to groups opening for Interpol — he with Secret Machines, she with On!Air!Library! (which included Deheza's twin sister Claudia). Curtis and the twins left their old bands and formed School of Seven Bells.

The band is known for ethereal music and lyrics that critics (but not Deheza) call abstract. The duo is touring to support its third album, "Ghostory," which debuted in February.

The show starts at 7, with opening act Exitmusic. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.
