The music of John Williams is the soundtrack of many movie-lovers' lives — from the stirring fanfare of "Star Wars" to the rousing march of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," from the haunting themes of the "Harry Potter" films to the touching melodies of "E.T."

The Utah Symphony will present a concert, titled "The Magical Music of John Williams," on Tuesday, April 17, at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Assistant conductor Vladimir Kulenovic will lead the symphony through Williams' works, highlighting connections between his scores and the great concert works of the symphonic repertoire.

The show starts at 7 p.m., and is sold out.
