The First: Jazz 22, Mavs 18
The Jazz convert only four of their first 15 possessions. Dirk Nowitzki makes his first three shots. Still, Devin Harris' second three-pointer triggers an 11-4 run that gives Utah a 20-16 lead with 3:02 remaining.
The Second: Jazz 43, Mavs 42
DeMarre Carroll's jumper caps a 9-2 run that gives the Jazz a 31-20 lead less than three minutes into the half. Nowitzki counters with four quick points, however, and the Dallas zone defense slows Utah's momentum.
The Third: Jazz 71, Mavs 62
Al Jefferson, Harris and Carroll hit jumpers. The Jazz quickly build a 49-42 lead. The Mavericks convert five of six possessions to stay close, but Carroll scores seven points and Utah edges away with a 9-4 run the final 2:07.
The Fourth: Jazz 89, Mavs 89.
The Jazz miss three shots and commit four turnovers in the first three minutes, but the Mavericks can't take advantage. Jamaal Tinsley buries a three-pointer to make it 79-70 with 5:38 left before Dallas closes on a 14-6 run.
First Overtime: Jazz 105, Mavs 105
Nowitzki gives Dallas a 96-92 lead, but Gordon Hayward and Harris bury consecutive three-pointers. After a defensive stop, Harris scores again to make it 100-96 with 1:05 remaining but the Jazz can't hang on.
Double Overtime: Jazz 111, Mavs 111
The Jazz score first but fail twice to extend their lead. It's 109-109 when Harris misses two free throws. After falling behind, however, Jefferson hits a jumper and both teams fail to convert in the final 29 seconds.
Third Overtime: Jazz 123, Mavs 121
With the score tied, Hayward assists on a three-pointer by Harris and a short jump hook by Jefferson, making it 120-115 with 1:08 left. After Delonte West hits a three, Millsap misses a free throw. But Nowitzki misses the tying three.
