A teen from Oakley died Tuesday afternoon from injuries in a single-vehicle rollover on Monday in Summit County.

Malone Sheeran, 16, was driving an SUV north about 5 p.m. on State Road 32 a mile north of Kamas when she veered into oncoming traffic, then to the right before rolling over and off the road, said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson.

The teen was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. She was flown to a Salt Lake City hospital in critical condition, but was taken off of life support Tuesday afternoon, Johnson said.

No one else was in the vehicle at the time. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
