Emergency crews used a helicopter to rescue a 25-year-old Minnesota woman who fell while climbing a rock wall in Moab on Tuesday.

The woman was climbing a rock wall known as the Ancient Art Tower at Fisher Towers, the Grand County Sheriff's office stated in a news release. The woman from St. Paul, Minn., slipped and fell while trying to hook into a bolt on the rock face in a multi-pitch climb.

She fell about 20 feet and landed on a ledge about 200 feet up from the base of the tower.

Grand County Search and Rescue, the park service and climbers from Moab Desert Adventures helped reach the woman and lift her into a helicopter.

A Lifeflight helicopter from Salt Lake City assisted with lifting the woman from the ledge and flew her to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray with rib, spine and head injuries. Her condition was not released.
