The Jazz (35-30) are 1-3 against San Antonio (48-16) this season. The Spurs have won eight consecutive games and hold the second-best record in the NBA.
Utah's three losses to San Antonio were by an average of 9.6 points. The Jazz beat the Spurs 91-84 on April 9 in Salt Lake City, during a game that saw San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich rest the Spurs' Big Three of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili in an attempt to counter a lockout-compressed schedule.
Utah and San Antonio last met in the playoffs during the 2007 Western Conference Finals, which the Spurs won 4-1.
San Antonio lost to Memphis 4-2 in the first round last season.
