The search will continue Monday for a toddler who is presumed drowned after he fell into the Weber River.

Weber County sheriff's officers said searchers worked through the day Sunday but could not find the child. They plan to return Monday morning.

The boy was with his family about 5:45 p.m. Saturday near the river at 300 W. Exchange Road taking family portraits when he fell in, authorities said. His family couldn't reach him in time.

Authorities, who called off the initial search at sunset Saturday, have said the boy is presumed drowned.

The boy's name has not been released, but authorities said his family lives in Layton.
