Coach Tyrone Corbin will "probably" start veteran Josh Howard at small forward in Game 2 of the Jazz's first-round playoff series at San Antonio on Wednesday night. The Jazz returned home after a 106-91 loss in Game 1 on Sunday. They practiced Monday morning. In the series opener, Corbin went with Howard instead of DeMarre Carroll. He went scoreless on 0-for-4 shooting in 16 minutes. Asked if he might switch back to Carroll, who filled in admirably while Howard was sidelined for a month after knee surgery, Corbin said, "Right now we are probably going to stay the same. But we'll look at it today and tomorrow and see. ... I thought [Howard] did O.K. He didn't score, but I thought, defensively, his experience showed at the beginning of the game."-Corbin is confident point guard Devin Harris will play better in Game 2 after scoring seven points on 3-for-9 shooting in the opener. He also had two assists and five turnovers"We've got to get him to use his speed more," Corbin said. "He has to be aggressive pushing the ball down the floor. We've got to get him into some more pick-and-roll opportunities put the ball in his hands more. Maybe we get him to come off the baseline a little bit. ... [But] he'll be fine. He'll respond."-In Game 1, the Spurs' Tony Parker scored 28 points and handed out eight assists. His dribble penetration was a key to San Antonio's offense."He's talented all-around," Harris said. "He does a great job of getting into the paint. They run great stuff for him. We have to try to make him play a little more defense and limit his transition opportunities his layups. And maybe give him a hard foul or two. ... "They spread the floor for a reason. The Matt Bonners, the Stephen Jacksons when they are making shots, it makes it tough to compact that lane. That's why the run the stuff they do. They are a good team for a reason." Steve Luhm
