UAF music headliners announced

Utah Arts Festival organizers just announced the music headliners for the 2012 Festival.

The fest will run June 21–24 on Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City.Opening night will be James McMurtry.

Also performing this year are Americana rockers Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, bluegrass group Blue Highway, Asian-American rapper Sonny Bonoho, Chicago Afrobeat Project, Mike Farris (above) & The Roseland Rhythm Review, Joe Jordan Experiment, Israeli guitar virtuoso Oz Noy, The Pimps of Joy Time, bluesman Curtis Salgado, Stooges Brass Band, Third World, and jazz by TIZER featuring Karen Briggs.Adult admission is $10 at the gate, $7 in advance. Children 12 and under are free. Seniors 65 and above are $5. Reduced adult admission is $5 and available from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
