No one can say BYU track athlete Katy Andrews doesn't have a sense of humor. The Cougar steeplechaser posted this video of her epic crash during the Robison Invitational in Provo last Saturday. Andrews was participating in the 3,000-meter steeplechase when things went horribly wrong. "I think I caught the toe of my spike a couple steps before the barrier," she wrote when she posted the video on YouTube. "I don't remember smacking the barrier, only being completely submerged in the water ha ha." Andrews is a senior from Encinitas, Calif., and La Costa Canyon High School. And she's actually a pretty good steeplechaser, having won the event at the season-opening Blue and Orange Opener with a time of 10 minutes, 9.77 seconds. She also finished 12th in the 5000m at the New Balance Invitational.
