The University Federal Credit Union is offering two free document-shredding days this month to help members and nonmembers protect themselves from identity theft.
The first event is Saturday at the Credit Union's Cottonwood Heights branch, 7220 S. Highland Drive. The second will be staged held May 12 at the West Jordan branch, 7121 S. Redwood Road.
Both shredding sessions start at 9 a.m. and conclude at noon.
These events are free to anyone who wants to dispose of personal documents.
