Singer-songwriter Rosie Thomas, a collaborator with Damien Jurado, Pedro The Lion and Sufjan Stevens, had disappeared from the scene for four years as she battled a thryoid disorder that led to her experiencing extreme anxiety. But she's back with a new album, "With Love," a testament to the healing power of love she's a newlywed, who credits her husband with helping her manage the disorder. The experience "taught me what mattered," Thomas said in her high-pitched voice in a phone interview. "I learned what I could go without." The struggle led her down a different path. "I'm used to writing about heartache," she said. "I'm not used to writing about my body breaking." In a special treat, Thomas' comedic alter-ego Sheila Saputo will open the show with a 15-minute stand-up routine. "My music is a complete opposite of what Sheila is," Thomas said. The she added after thinking for a moment: "Oh cool, I'm on the bill twice." Ivan & Alyosha also open.
