Utah Jazz's Favors, Corbin discuss going big against Spurs for Game 4

Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said he plans to start Derrick Favors in Game 4, initially teaming him with big men Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson.

It'll mark Favors' first start in the playoffs. The 20-year-old power forward is averaging 10.3 points and 26.3 minutes during the series, while leading Utah with 9.3 rebounds. Favors recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds during Utah's 102-90 loss in Game 3 on Saturday.

Favors on his mindset during the series thus far: I just treat it as a regular game. Just come in, play my part, do my role and come out and play hard.

Defensive strengths of going big: We've just got to work a little harder to get better and just come out there focused and ready to play.

Corbin trusting him to start an elimination game: It's a big relief for me. I went through a lot last year. And just being on a playoff team, I'm happy with that.

Mindset of elimination game: It's do-or-die time. If we lose, our season over with. If we win, we keep playing. So it's do-or-die time.

Corbin on his confidence in Favors and how well he's played in this series: He's so rangy. He can cover smaller guys on the perimeter some. He's so quick to get back once he steps on the perimeter to try and help in the pick-and-roll situations or to recover back. And Paul [Millsap] can do the same, so it'll give us a little more speed and size. And also give us an opportunity to get more offensive rebounds and be able to attack them inside more, and hopefully we can win the points in the paint battle for once in this series.
