Spring in the north and a taste of summer in the south: what better Utah weather forecast could you ask for?

The National Weather Service predicted highs around 70 Saturday along the Wasatch Front, while the mercury was expected to climb to near 90 degrees in the southern part of the state. All of that, by the way, is predicted to come under clearing, sunny skies.

And, while you are out enjoying the warmth — and don't forget that sunblock — you can breathe deeply without worry; air quality throughout the state was rated "Green," or good by the Utah Division of Environmental Quality.

The forecast high for Salt Lake City Saturday was 70 degrees, mirroring the prediction for Friday; Ogden looked for readings of 70 and 68, respectively; Provo 72 and 71; Logan 70 and 68; Wendover 74 and 70; Duchesne 71 and 70; Cedar City 73 and 75; St. George 90 and 91; and Moab 86 and 85 degrees.
