Unified police announced Tuesday night that officers had found a missing 73-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Police said Kenneth "Kenny" Rodgers was located, was safe and has been taken to LDS Hospital. They said he was placed at the Highland Cove Retirement Center on Monday and was last seen there about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers said they were concerned about Rodgers welfare because of his dementia and Tuesday's warm temperatures.
