Utah's weather forecast? Why, like your favorite breakfast bread, it's going to be toasty out there.

Northern Utah expected high temperatures Friday in the mid-80s, up five degrees from Thursday's forecast, under sunny, mostly clear skies. In southern Utah, Friday's highs will flirt with 102, up a couple degrees from Thursday. Utah's Dixie also will have winds in the 15-25 mph range.

Air quality statewide on Friday won "Green," or healthy grades, except for southwestern Utah's Washington County, which expected a "Yellow," or diminished air quality day, according to the Utah Division of Environmental Quality.

Salt Lake City was expecting a high of 86 on Friday, compared to Thursday's forecast for 81 degrees; Ogden looked for 83 and 79, respectively; Provo 87 and 83; Logan 82 and 78; Wendover 86 and 82; Duchesne 82 and 80; Cedar City 88 and 85; St. George 102 and 97; and Moab 94 and 90 degrees.
