In three days, summer workouts will start for Utah State football, which means fall practice isn't too far off, which means the season is in sight.

And the good news, for Aggie fans, is that all of the junior college transfers are on track to take part in said summer workouts.

That means no last minute guys coming on campus, as has been the case in years past. That means no sweating out guys like Paul Piakula.

Wide receiver Alex Wheat has been tweeting his heart out, making it clear that he's ready to go and get things started. Workouts are expected to last six weeks, on campus. The players are expected to take three weeks off and fall practice will start around the first to second week of August.

During that time, progress could be made in position battles, and roles are expected to be more defined heading into official practice.
