The second annual Salt Lake Comedy festival will be held this weekend throughout Salt Lake City, giving unheralded comics a stage as well as providing laughs for the audiences.

Friday, at the Grand Theatre on the Salt Lake City campus of Salt Lake Community College, between 7 and 9 p.m. there will be "Improv Survivor," followed by "60-Second Stand Up Comedy" from 9:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.

On Saturday, aspiring comics will endure "Comedy Boot Camp" — with one of the sessions hosted by comic and Wiseguys owner Keith Stubbs — followed by "Battle of the Improvs" at the Grand Theatre at 7 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. at the same location, there will be "OTW Comedy" at 9:30 p.m.
