Two Salt Lake City art installations have been selected among the 50 best new public-art works for 2011.
The works were ranked by the Public Art Network, a program of the nonprofit Americans for the Arts.
Brian W. Brush and Yong Ju Lee's "Dynamic Performance of Nature," the LED sine-wave sculpture at the entrance of The Leonardo, was ranked eighth.
Susan Narduli's multimedia installation "Land and Time," which leads from etched concrete sidewalks outside to faceted walls displaying real-time data projections at the entrance of the Natural History Museum of Utah, was ranked 33rd on the list.
