Bingham defensive standout Durrant Miles committed to Boise State late Tuesday, passing onffers from Utah State and Hawaii and skipping a visit to Utah.

The linebacker and defensive end, who will be a senior, tweeted, "OFFICIALLY COMMITTED TO BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY! #BRONCONATION" and told the Idaho Statesman that he was sold by a weekend visit to the campus. Miles visited on Friday and received an offer from coach Chris Petersen on Monday.

Miles said he was scheduled to visit Utah on Wednesday, but no longer will.

Miles recorded 45 tackles for the Miners last year. He told the Statesman Petersen recruited him to play "stud" linebacker, the center of the Broncos defense.
