Tiger muskies planted in Pineview, Joe's Valley and Johnson reservoirs

Utah fisheries officials continue to bolster their own tiger muskie stock, but realize how popular the fish are to anglers. With that in mind 3,500 tiger muskie fingerlings were released in Pineview Reservoir on Thursday.
DWR aqutatics biologists Chris Penne, who provided these pictures, said the 3,500 fish equaled the combined total of tiger muskies released in Pineview over the past two years. The fish were about 4 inches long and may be as long as 12 inches by this fall.
The small tigers came from South Dakota as part of a shipment of 7,000. Joes Valley Reservoir and Johnson Reservoir also received loads of the fish.
