From 5K races, pancake breakfasts and parades to fireworks, here are the July Fourth activities across Utah:

DAVIS COUNTY

Centerville

Centerville's activities include a freedom run, 5K and children's race starting at City Hall, 7 a.m.; breakfast, 7-9 a.m.; parade on Main Street, 9 a.m.; and the Outdoor Festival, 10-3 p.m. Visit bit.ly/MVKzij for a schedule.

Clearfield

Clearfield will hold its traditional freedom 5K run/two-mile walk (6:45 a.m.), parade (9:30 a.m.) and pancake breakfast (7-10 a.m.). The Fourth of July festival will begin at 6 p.m. with food vendors and performances by the Clearfield Community Band and classic-rock group Outrageous. Kaysville

Kaysville will kick off its July Fourth celebration with a breakfast at 6:30 a.m., followed by a parade at 11 a.m. Both are at the Davis Applied Technology College, 550 E. 300 South. A 5K and 10K run will be held at 7:30 a.m. at Davis High School, plus the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Layton

West Bountiful

West Bountiful will have a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall at 7 a.m. where a light breakfast will be served; a parade beginning at 400 N. 800 West at 10:30 a.m.; and a full day of park events including performances by the Senior Jazz Band, West Bountiful Elementary Children's Choir, Cami Olsen's Cloggers, and magic and illusion by cowboy poet/comedian Craig Dransfield.

The Mount Pleasant City Annual Rodeo will be held July 3-4. After the rodeo ends, there will be fireworks. The rodeo is at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Grounds.

Bingham Canyon Lions Club

The Bingham Canyon Lions Club will hold its annual breakfast in Copperton Park.

Magna

Magna will have a cannonade, 7 a.m.; Lions Club breakfast, 7-11 a.m.; a 5K walk/run at Pleasant Green Park; a parade at noon on Main Street; games and rides, 1-10 p.m.; Music in the Park, 5-10 p.m.; and fireworks, 10 p.m.

Murray

Murray's July Fourth celebration will kick off with the Lions Club community breakfast. At 7:45 a.m. the Red Desert Duo will perform.

Activities • Murray City will have several events on July Fourth at Murray Park including food booths, games and rides, custom and vintage car and bike show, face painting, fishing booth, baseball games, coed volleyball tournament, free kids activities such as balloon toss, tug-of-war. There will be entertainment at the Murray Park Gazebo and the evening's musical entertainment and fireworks will be held at the softball field.

Parade • Murray's July Fourth parade begins at Fashion Place Mall, goes north to Vine Street, turns right at Vine Street down to 330 E. Vine to the park entrance, goes through the park and concludes at the west end of the park. Grand marshals will be Bruce and Thelma Parsons. There will be an F-16 flyover.

Sandy

Sandy will start its celebration with a flag-raising ceremony at 6:50 a.m.; 5K and 10K races at 7 a.m.; youth arts festival; Sandy Police and Fire Department activities; inflatables and food and vendors at 10 a.m. The Sandy Idol competition will kick off the music portion at the park's Main Stage at 11 a.m. Performances will go until 5 p.m. The parade is at 6 p.m. followed by evening concerts starting at 8 and fireworks at 10 p.m. Visit bit.ly/ikF4th for information.

Snowbird

As part of its annual tradition, Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort will celebrate the Fourth of July with a pancake breakfast and live music. The festivities will take place on the Plaza Deck, Snowbird Resort Entry 2. Visit www.snowbird.com/events/summer/july4.html for information.

The West Jordan Independence Day Festival and Western Stampede will be packed July Fourth with festivities including rides, carnival attractions, free family movies, an Independence Day Parade, Dutch oven cookoff, 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run and PRCA rodeo. Midway

Lehi

Lehi City and Thanksgiving Point will celebrate American independence with a fireworks show. Gates, concessions and vendors at Electric Park will open at 5 p.m. Fireworks start approximately 10 p.m. and will be set off from the north side of the property.

Musical entertainment will include "Remembering the Fab Four" from 3-5 p.m., demolition derby at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.
