If you liked the hot, dry, windy and smoky weather Utah has endured so far this week, you should just love Thursday's forecast.

In northern Utah, highs will range to near 90 degrees with hazy skies and winds of 15-25 mph the rule. To the south, temperatures will climb into the triple digits with winds of 15-25 mph.

In wildfire-plagued central Utah, though, skies will continue to be smoky from the region's still out-of-control wildfires with high temperatures in the low 90s and winds of 10-20 mph.

A "Red Flag" wildfire danger warning was out for the southwest quarter of the state, from Nephi stretching west to the Nevada border and south to the St. George area.

Air quality officially was rated "Green," or healthy throughout the state, though smoke and haze were still factors in areas near the fires.

Salt Lake City's high Thursday was to be 93, up three degrees from Wednesday's forecast; Ogden expected 91 and 88 degrees, respectively; Provo 94 and 92; Logan 90 and 86; Wendover 92 and 87; Duchesne 91 and 90; Cedar City 91 degrees both days; St. George 103 degrees both days; and Moab 100 and 98 degrees.
