Tyler Larsen, for the second consecutive year, has been recognized as one of the top centers in college football.
The junior from Jordan High, who serves as the anchor of Utah State's offensive line, has been named to the Rimington Trophy Fall Watch List for the second straight season.
Larsen is one of three centers on the list from the Westerb Athletic Conference, along with Mike Marboe from Idaho and Stephen Warner of Louisiana Tech.
Larsen enters this season with 25 consecutive starts for the Aggies. He is tabbed as a first team All-WAC candidate and is considered by many to be the best center in the conference.
On more than one occasion, the coaching staff has told The Tribune that Larsen has NFL potential. He finished the 2011 season with 65.5 knockdowns, most amongst the Utah State offensive linemen.
