Friday the 13th means good luck — if you like to be scared.

The Fear Factory is opening this weekend for a special two-night event. The haunted attraction in the former cement factory at 666 W. 900 South, Salt Lake City, will be open from 9 p.m.-midnight on Friday and Saturday.

If you're afraid of the dark, of heights or of monsters, you're sure to get a scare. Add the fact that the old factory is allegedly haunted — there are documented cases of people being killed on the premises — and it's definitely a fright night.

The sounds of Scott*Free, Dj Delmaggio, and Ravings of a Madman will entertain you while a long list of frightening characters wait inside the factory to horrify you. —
