Provo man burned after falling into Yellowstone geyser

A 37-year-old man from Provo suffered thermal burns Monday after falling into a geyser at Yellowstone National Park.

Park officials said the man fell into Solitary Geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin in the Old Faithful area on Monday.

He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in West Yellowstone before being flown to the University of Utah Burn Center for treatment.

Park officials did not detail the severity of the man's injury.
