A woman died after her car rolled off Interstate 80 near the Nevada-Utah border.

The woman, 21, was driving west about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday when her car went off the right shoulder. The woman over-corrected to the left, and the car rolled several times in the median, troopers wrote in a press statement.

The driver-side door opened while the car was rolling, exposing the woman to traumatic injuries, troopers wrote. She was wearing a seat belt.

The woman died while she was being taken to a hospital in an ambulance.

Troopers were withholding the woman's name pending family notification.
