GRADE: A+

Blu-ray • You're gonna need a bigger TV. Steven Spielberg's classic horror/adventure, "Jaws," finally lands on the high-resolution video format, and the results are eye-popping — this is truly one of the best Blu-ray releases in years. The classic 1975 summer blockbuster (arguably one of Spielberg's best movies) has never looked better, thanks to a lovingly restored digital picture and sound that brings out colors, details and sound effects never seen before. The disc also comes with a new feature-length fan-made documentary that tells the equally mesmerizing story of making "Jaws," which Spielberg says was one of his most horrifying shoots ever. It's a masterful presentation of a true cinematic masterpiece, and it's worthy of anyone's Blu-ray catalog.
