Abby Huntsman, daughter of Utah's former governor Jon Huntsman, has a new job.
The younger Huntsman is one of the hosts of "HuffPost Live," which launched today. It's a new streaming-video channel of the news site The Huffington Post.
Abby's a bit green as an interviewer (hey, it's her first day give her a break), but she's engaging and seems genuinely curious about what her guests have to say. She's fast on her feet, which is important on a channel that's still going through technical glitches and other first-day jitters.
She serves as a moderate Republican voice on the channell which may be a bit of a surprise to anyone attempting to pigeon-hole Huffington Post as a left-leaning news outlet.
Abby is one of the famous "Jon 2012 Girls" who made the Republican primaries much more interesting when they tweeted through their father's failed presidential campaign.
Abby is also writing commentary for HuffPost, such as this blog entry (posted Sunday) pointing out the lack of foreign-policy experience of Mitt Romney's new running mate, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.
