Black Diamond's fundraiser for Utah Avalanche Center is Sept. 13

Black Diamond's 19th annual fundraiser for the Utah Avalanche Center will be Sept. 13 at the Holladay outdoor equipment manufacturer's plant, 2084 E. 3900 South.
The event runs from 6-10 p.m., featuring music by Herban Empire, food by Rico's and beverages from Uinta Brewing.
Cost is $39 before Sept. 10, $45 thereafter. Tickets may be purchased at Black Diamond's offices, REI or online at UtahAvalancheCenter.org.
Funds go the center, a U.S. Forest Service operation that provides daily information during the winter about forecasts, snow conditions and avalanche hazards.
