There is a lot of talk about the depth the Utes have at receiver this year, with Dres Anderson, Geoff Norwood and Luke Matthews all having good camps. But the guy who likely will be quarterback Jordan Wynn's favorite target? He'll likely be DeVonte Christopher, Utah's leading receiver for the past two years. The former quarterback has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time to make big plays, making him a sought-after target. But another reason Wynn and Christopher could hook up a lot is because the two have developed such a good bond, both players said. "I see what he sees and he sees what I see," Wynn said. "He is changing things up and I just know, it all just clicks." Christopher, who led Utah in receiving yards (663), touchdown catches (5) and receptions last year (42) said he has never had as good a chemistry with another player as he does with Wynn. "It's unreal," he said. "As soon as the play is over, it's like, 'Ok, ok, let's go.' By the time we are back at the huddle, we've already sorted out what we are going to do. It happens all the time, he can make just a hand gesture and I know what he is thinking. It's an unbelievable connection that comes from us watching film together on our days off and hanging together outside of football." That 'hanging together' time recently even included a trip to get pedicures. "You have to keep the feet looking nice," Christopher said with a laugh, showing off his toes. "I put a lot of work into them." I'm sure as long as he runs fast and catches the ball well, Utah fans won't care what his toes look like.
