We'll have our only media access to some of the Utah players today at the noon press conference. Opening up against Northern Colorado is a tempting situation for the Utes to look past that contest to the ones ahead, particularly since the next two are against rivals Utah State and BYU. However, Utah coach Kyle Whittingham and the team were insisting last week they won't take the Bears lightly, even if they didn't win a game last year. Whittingham brought up Louisiana-Monroe's 21-14 upset of Alabama in 2007 as a reminder that anything can happen. "They love to throw the ball around," he said of Northern Colorado. "You have to have the mindset any team can beat anybody."
