How was Yeasayer last night?

I forgot to post my Yeasayer interview before the show, so here it is:Yeasayer, an experimental rock group with electronic flourishes, has had a long history together, said Anand Wilder, who has known the other core members (Chris Keating and Ira Wolf Tuton) for what seems like forever. Keating and Wilder met in elementary school when they were 6 years old, and Tuton's sister married Wilder's cousin — not the type of cousins whom you never see, but "cool" cousins who took him on trips such as to Montana and were very "influential people in my life." As the three were preparing for the release of their new album, "Fragrant World," they were disappointed that their prior album was leaked by a German reporter before the official release. This time around, "we wanted to do it on our own terms," Wilder said. So, before the Aug. 20 release, the band posted songs all over the Internet in hopes that die-hard fans would find them and enjoy high-quality versions of the songs with intriguing videos set to each of them. "We decided to pre-empt the inevitable," Wilder said.
