Re "Romney-Ryan have medicine for sick economy" (Opinion, Aug. 28):
Congratulations, Cal Thomas! With this comment — "If Romney-Ryan can close the deal and get Congress to go along with them" in their plan "fix our sick economy," "they will deserve the thanks of a grateful nation and maybe a place on Mt. Rushmore" — Thomas has been hereby inducted into the not-so-secret Society of Crazies.
He joins other luminaries, including Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Rep. Todd Akin, R-Mo.
Mt. Rushmore? With that line, Thomas just might qualify for head of the society.
