The band Starship canceled its Monday night concert in Orem after its lead guitarist died unexpectedly.

The announcement was posted on the website of SCERA, which had planned to host the concert.

Website TMZ reported that guitarist Mark Abrahamian died following a concert in Nebraska Sunday night.

Those who purchased tickets for the Orem show are eligible for a refund or a gift card, the center said. Season ticket holders also have the option of selecting tickets to a future event of their choice.

Those who ordered tickets from an online discounter — such as City Deals or Deal Dragon — must contact the online discounter for a refund.
